Scosche Dash Kit for 2011Mustang

For installing an aftermarket radio in my 2011 Mustang is the Scosche Dash Kit all I need. It will retain Sync functionality. Nothing additional need to get steering wheel controls and everything?

I was looking at the Metra kit, but seems like you have to buy a lot of additional items in addition to the dash kit (module for steering wheel controls, an ADBOX, ADBOX harness. Seems like with Scosche all you need is the dash kit and everything is included. Is that right or am I missing something?

Thanks.

the only func dash kit is to relocate the AC as well as Give you the proper size hole for a double din or single din sized radio. The dash kit has no interaction with sync.

As far as these adaptor boxes, your going to have to buy them if you want to keep things like steering wheel control. Each manufacturer has a box for there unit...example... I have a Sony in dash screen. So I bought a Sony to 2012 mustang interface box, I also needed a Sony to ford antenna adaptor, if I had steering control there is a box for that as well... And so on. There may be a box just for sync even...

I like my kit, I think it's a Metra, it's the one with the buttons. I just didn't see those touch screen units still working in 5 or 10 years. Could be wrong but that was why I got the one I did..... The trucker pin up girl on the dash was a plus too lol
