Will this work?

So I'm narrowing down components to upgrade my factory stereo. I believe I have the basic shaker (with 8" door subs and nav).

I'm wanting to do a stealthy upgrade... No trunk sub, just some great components to replace the factory ones and run it all off of a decent 5 channel amp.... For around $2200 incl. install

Here's what I'm thinking:

Doors - Focal PS 130's 5.25 plus tweet, and Focal ISS 200 8" in each door.

Amp - JL HD or XD.

Not going to bother with rears.

I'm looking for a musical system with tightness and punch. Balanced with a full range of frequency. And listened to at normal to mid-loud volumes.

How does this sound to you?

2200 that seems pretty pricey. How much is the equipment by itself

Each speaker set is going to be about $300.... So say $600 for speakers. Then an amp for $600-$900 That's $1500 at the high end. Door treatment matting for $40 and installation for about $700.... Though this was a very roughly quoted figure. I'm expecting less.... But we also have 13% tax here.

Ya, sales tax up here sucks. It wouldn't be so bad if we were seeing some major infrastructure advances... But we aren't.

Anyways. Politics aside, my original question (regardless of cost) still stands... Will this system be what I'm looking for?

It will probably be what your looking for because those are good components but price seems a bit on the high end. Me personally I'd go buy a sundown sax100.4 to power each channel and be good but that's just me
