Not picking up Radio Stations.

I have the Shaker 500 radio. Like everyone else I had the error code. Sounds like a cd stuck in it but no cd was in it. After doing a little research I found out that the mechanism needed changed. I found out that if you changed the mechanism that I wouldn't need to have it reprogrammed. So today I changed the mechanism. Everything is working fine except no radio stations won't come in. The antenna is hooked up. Any ideas as to what could be the problem. Thanks in advance.

Well I figured out why I wasn't able to pick up any radio stations. I pulled the radio back out last night. Look at the spot where the antenna plugs into the back of the radio. There's a fine wire that was bent. Straightened it out then plugged the antenna back up. I didn't know about that fine wire.
