Microphone location for bluetooth stereo in 02 stang?

So I am replacing my old pioneer head unit in my 02 v6 mustang (and giving it to my brother for his birthday) and replacing it with a Pioneer DEH-4500BT head unit. It includes a microphone and some length of wire to install it.

I am wondering what are some good ideas on where to place the mic so it's clean and etc.

Thanks!

Yeah, mine might end up there as well as it seems to be any easy place to wire to. I might try and go a little further and mount it above the rear view mirror.

Most important thing is I want it to be almost unnoticeable but also good reception for the driver and passenger. I'll play with it and make sure to post my results.

But I do appreciate the input! Bought it from amazon.com so it should be here mid week, can't wait to install it.

I mounted mine inside the heater vent so you can see it.

I put mine infront of my guages then tilted it up a bit so steering wheel isn't in the way, I did this cause there's a small gap below y steering wheel that my wire hides perfect lol
