Sync or Iphone problem

When making a call using Sync , I say call Mary, and it calls the wrong person. Same thing if I say call Mark. I called tech support, they said it can be fixed on my iPhone for $125. Has this happened to anyone here? Could I have a problem with my Sync? Any ideas fellow Mustanger,s.

Keep background noise to a minimum. Windows up and speak clear, not fast. For me, couple calls out of 10 gets all wack. It is frustrating though.

Which Iphone do you have? If it is a 4S or 5 does it do the same thing using Siri? If so then I would say phone if not then I would say sync.

I was going to get a new phone, but I can't without paying too much. The AT&T man just deleted my sync. Then reinstalled my phone to sync. No problems.

One possible scenario that occurs frequently with iPhone users occurs when they use an app called "emoji" to put little emoticons next to people's names. Sync can't recognize the shapes listed in their contacts and for some reason it chooses one at random or maybe the first name listed and calls them. This happens even when you try to call someone with no smiley faces in their name as long as 1 contact has an emoji, the entire contact list downloaded will be corrupted.

I have not had any problems lately. If they happen again, I will take your advice. Thanks
