Indash LCD - Pioneer 6500

So yeah, I went into Tweeter over the weekend and looked at the amazingly $2300 Pioneer 7500 headunit. Wow is that thing awesome. And then I stepped back in to reality and realized that $2300 is way too much for an in dash LCD.

Anyways, I was wondering what you all think about the Pioneer 6500.

I can find one easily for under $1100, so I just wanted to get some feedback on it. I like it because it looks nice and it's not as expensive as the 7" ones. Also, the menus seem to be real easy to use, and all functions can be utilized via the touchscreen unlike other brands where you get limited features with the touchscreen and mostly everything else is controlled via buttons on the unit itself.

Do you all have any other personal favs? Or any other suggestions? Thanks.

Heh, thanks

If I can save up $600 from now till Xmas, my mom said she'll buy it for me. (by paying the difference, I found it on this one site for 1069.99 w/ free shipping and no tax since they're in NY and I'm in VA)

Exactly. Well, I like the fact of the screen for navigating through Mp3 discs, folders, etc. And also the DVD factor will be nice =)

BTW, off subject, but did you ever end up getting the Evo yet?
