2012 mustang

I have a 2012 premium without the touch screen navigation is there any possible way to remove the factory head unit and install a touch screen radio

Scosche makes a bezel to mount a touch screen nav but they move the ac controls above the radio. Also moves the radio to where your ac controls originally were metra makes a similar dash kit also

crutchfield will have something soon, they dont make it easy to swap units, which sucks because the factory unit is crap as for sounding good .

Pretty much you reroute your stereo controls etc to a overhead mount and your ipad plays through the aux you still have radio and all here's the link

I just saw that crutchfield had the OEM mount if you wanted that instead

Here is a headunit that maintains the factory radio and sync so if you are just looking to add the gps feature this might be the best because you dont have to spend the extra money on a head unit as well
