Stereo Upgrade sync question

So I just finished changing out my front speakers (again, I pretty much destroyed them trying to make them fit the 2013 Premium's bracket) and added in my amp. I have the OEM stereo and tapped into the rear speakers to my LC2i, which then runs to my amp. The amp then pushes out to the front and rear speakers (subs still powered by standard head unit). Everything is working amazingly well with the exception of sync audio (prompts, etc.) Apparently this signal is only sent to the front speakers so I can only hear it from the subs, but obviously these are not well-suited to this task and it's pretty much impossible to make out what's being said. Does anyone happen to know of a way to overcome this issue (short of running even more wires, which was a huge pain). Guessing that just wiring both the front channel from the HU and the amp to the front speakers would be a bad idea. Any ideas? Thanks.
