New Speakers

I think this has been addressed. I couldn't really find anything.

So my base model 2012 v6 speakers are starting to crackle.

My question is what would be a somewhat cheap door and rear speakers to replace them with.

Plus what are the sizes? 6x8 in front? I'm not a Audio savvy. Lol

Thanks for any input!

Check out WWW.crutchfield.com, you can put in your car year make and model and they will show you the sizes and what brands cone in those sizes.

I just got some pioneers for mine that sound amazing! They were like $100 for four speakers at Walmart

5x7 and 6x8 are somewhat interchangeable....+1 on Crutchfield...google Crutchfield coupon code too. They don't always have the best price but their info and service is the best (or at least very good). If you spend anything over 60+ per pair you'll be fine. fwiw I got Focals in the clearance bin @ $100 pair and I'm happy with them. This is one of the worth it upgrades.

Purchase any speakers? I'm looking at upgrading and would be wondering if you found quality speakers you like.

JL Audio C2 570's sound very nice in my car. FYI, the factory rear deck speakers are 6X8s. I had custom plexiglass adapters made to fill the open space around the JL 5X7s.
