Quick Radio Wire Question

Hey guys! I have a blue negative power antenna wire from the car. And on the radio I have a light blue/yellow steering remote control wire, blue/white power control wire, brown mute control wire, and a blue antenna control wire. It seems like the blue one but the manuel says not used. Do I just forget about the blue wire coming from the car?? When I unhooked the last radio it was just sitting there not attached to anything.

Also do I need to unhook the battery before I connect the rest? Ground, ignition, battery?

always a good idea to unhook the battery, the neg (black) being you last and first connection when doing so...on the battery
