1993 mustang amplifier on aftermarket head unit

Hey I just ordered an aftermarket head unit to replace a four channel one that keeps overheating and I just noticed my stock amplifier was bypassed and I was looking at buying this kit Scosche C4FDK5 and I was wondering if it will help making my stereo louder and clearer or if I should keep it bypassed while I install my new head unit

Depends on the new head unit you got. Most good ones have an amp built into them. What kind of speakers do you have too?

+1 on the stock amp being garbage

To be honest, I would just keep it as is, with your new head unit. Those speakers sound great as is. I don't think that kit will make it sound any better.

I have same infinitys in the dash, are.you using crutchfield by chance? You should ask for some bass blockers for those 3.5s, it filters out the low frequencies so they wont pop when you turn the volume way up
