Aftermarket Subwoofers With Shaker 500 Door Subs

Hey, I have a 2005 mustang v6 with the Shaker 500 factory system in it. I have already replaced the head-unit, and all 4 6X9 speakers. I replaced the speakers with inifinit references, and the headunit is a kenwood. It has 2 subwoofer rca outputs on the back that are currently occupied by the shaker subs. I was wanting to add more bass to my system and was wondering if i could add one or 2 subs with a dedicated amplifier. I was also wondering if i should keep the 8" subs in the doors connected, along with the 12" sub in the back. Or should i disconnect the shaker 500 8" subs and just use the 12" sub. Whichever would sound better.
