ported 10 inch subwoofer box

I ordered a dual ported 10 box off ebay for my 2000 stang. The width and depth is good but the height is 13 inches. Will it fit through my back seat if I take that bracket thing off thats around back of the seats

You would be correct in assuming that. If you remove the entire back seat bracket around the opening to the trunk, you would be able to fit a 13hx29wx34l box in the back. However, if you wanted to just slide it in from the trunk deck opening, then the max height would be 10". It's a little more work, but you can do it. What kind of subs are you throwing in there? XD

Be grateful your not in a convertible cause I can't just take off my back seats and slide them in. I have to shove them in my trunk. I got 2 10s in a sealed box btw

Actually guys, I hate to take this thread on a different topic, but I will for your sake.
BE CAREFUL WHEN WIRING YOUR AMP, AND GROUND IT TO THE FRAME INSTEAD OF THE BODY. The guy that I bought my stang from had some subs wired up in the trunk, so I kept them in. But because he wired them to the body, what ended up happening was the current arched to the transmission shift cable, which made it seize up and eventually snap. So be careful, please!

The guy that I bought mine from had it wired to a bolt that's behind the driver side tail light, under the carpet. I saw it and figured it was a good ground, but apparently not in this model.

Where did you ground yours? I need to find a new one before I install my new shifter cable. Thanks mate.
