Question DVD while driving

OK,
I am sure this question has been asked and answered, but I searched a few pages on the forum and couldn't find.

Is there a way to watch DVD while driving?
AND is there a cheaper way than buying and installing the Lockpick?

I've been told there is a White/Blue wire, but I have not found anything by way of Google on instructing what to do with this wire OR if it even exist!

Thanks for all of your knowledge in advance!

ps. I know people are gonna chime in and say not to do this, but I wanna..

Do you have a copy of the wiring diagram? It could be a sensor built inside the deck or it could be a wire.

The wire diagram tells of the White/Blue wire, but doesn't say where it is or where it gets its signal.

HEY incase no one wants to tell you how I WILL lol...I have mine set up to play while driving. I don't just watch movies, I burn my cds with the music videos rather then just the songs... anyways its simple man....
Just take the I think yellow wire, you will have to check your diagram and ground It out.. Its supposed to be the wire that lets the car know your parked or that the e brake is on, anyways all you need to do is ground it out and it works perfect. just twist that wire with your ground wire or to a ground and your set.

Get your son a portable DVD player that HE can watch in the backseat and not for you in the front seat while your texting, watching DVD's and drag racing on the street

Joe Arpiao would love for you to come visit him

Wow, I'm sorry to hear that. At least three illegal acts at once. It's people like you who are what I classify as "scum of the Earth." Doing all of that while driving and posting two threads so you'll get answers faster, you sound like one selfish individual.

The good news is though, if you do happen to wreck (which your likelihood seems to be much higher than the sensible members in this thread) you've already admitted to breaking three laws online (which doesn't just get 'deleted') will get you an even longer jail sentence. Maybe you'll learn one day.
Why would you even respond, You dont have the answer.
and "Scum of the Earth" just because I am Looking for Technical Advice! WOW

So your son will be involved in your risk taking as well? I'd say that deserves a "Dad of the Year" award for sure.

BTW, I do know how to wire a 'bypass' to watch movies. Came across it on accident when installing an aftermarket head unit years back. I've said enough, have a nice rest of your evening sir.

Where do all these "CLUELESS" people come from? Is there another site out there that's booting them out and the come to Mustang Evolution?

Never heard of anything so ridiculous!

Now, do I cut White/Blue wire to install my 52 inch Sanyo in the roof of the car?

Here's what you do if you wanna keep an eye on your son. When driving, look slightly right and up. That thing right there where you're looking is called a REAR VIEW MIRROR. I hope you can figure out its function from its name

mine is a 2000 GT but that's besides the point. all you need to do is ground the wire out and your fine. it will bypass you having to park to watch a dvd,, just ground it to anything that's a ground

Theres a wire thats marked something along the lines of brake, or safety, something that the instructions state to connect to your emergency brake....just ground that wire and it should work fine, depending on the radio, do a google search for that specific model and it should tell you...

DVDs while driving is fresh! Just take the parking brake ground wire and wire it to ground. Some new HU are wired to reset after a switch, so hooking your parking brake wire to a toggle switch doesn't always work. But grounding the parking brake wire makes the unit constantly think it's activated.
