Kicker 40CS684 6"x8" 2-way car speakers

Hey guys,

I have a 2013 v6 sport package 'stang. Installed an aftermarket alpine head unit and looking to upgrade speakers. I was wondering if anyone had an opinion on the Kicker 40CS684 6"x8", or any advice in general. Looking to upgrade speakers and eventually install a sub but want to get at the very least front speakers done in the next couple of weeks, hopefully have everything set up by spring. Thanks to anyone who took time to read and respond.

Here is a link to the speakers:

I just bought a 2013 V6 Convertible and was looking at the same speakers. If anyone else has installed them please post a reply with your thoughts.

I replaced door and rear deck speakers with these. They are great. Huge improvement vs. stock speakers.

Kickers arent bad, especially for the price. Id also look at the Alpine Type R or even the Polk Audio's.
