Removing Mach 1000 subs and amps - Mustang Evolution

Removing Mach 1000 subs and amps

Hey guys and gals this is my first post and I was curious, can i remove the subs and amps from my 2002 GT its the factory Mach 1000 system. I'm not too crazy about bass would rather hear the exhaust any help would be appreciated!

It's certainly possible. There's quite a bit of info on it here.

If you do, you could probably sell what you remove for a nice chunk of change.

agreed wondering if i should sell head unit as well with the subs and amps and put in a decent aftermarket one. Anyone in the market for the 1000 subs amps and headunit?

I needed a headunit a while ago, thanks to mine succumbing one last time to the notorious issue with CD's jamming. As long as yours is still working well, you should have no trouble finding a buyer.

No worries.

If you're shopping for a new headunit, I would at least do your research at Crutchfield. Start here. If you buy from them, they'll provide everything you need to install it as well.
