Maestro Mustang Dash Kit (MUS1) - RED LED Light Bar

Hi All,

If any of you have been following these two threads...

Maestro Mustang Dash Kit (MUS1) - Corrected Button Bars

...You know that there was some MUS1 dash kits that went out with blue LEDs that weren't quite the same color blue as the rest of the Mustang interior. ADS was fantastic with customer support as the above threads show and sent out replacement light bars with "corrected" LEDs. Well I received my replacement and because I'm anal (it's a curse), I still wasn't quite happy with the color. I decided that I would go a different route and swap the LEDs from blue to red myself. After some trial and error with my soldering iron and mistakingly ordering the wrong size SMD LEDs, I finally have a finished product and I think it looks amazing! ADS should offer this as an optional color in my opinion...hint hint

Anyway below is a pic of the dash kit installed. With the MYCOLOR option in the Mustang and the color options on the Kenwood deck I was able to mach everything up and I think it looks great!

If anyone is brave enough to try this, here's the info for the LEDs that I used...
