2014 door speakers

Hi I have a v6 2014 base with no shaker and no sync. I noticed that a 6x8 will fit. But there are so many choices with different brand. Do u guys have any suggestion for speakers? Thanks

look @ crutchfield...I put in entry level Focals and am happy. If you buy through them Google "Crutchfield coupon code" decent prices great service! I did all 4 it sounds decent not great but I'm fussy and like accurate sound. If it didn't require lots of $ I'd swap the head unit but too much $ for me.

Go into a stereo shop and listen to different brands.everyone has their own opinion on what sounds good. You can buy them from anywhere but if its a mom and pop shop why not give them the business instead. For new, expect to spend at least 100 per pair for decent quality 5x7 speakers.

Just understand that you are replacing $15 speakers with what are probably $40 (wholesale) speakers. I replaced the front two speakers and was surprised to find the 2014 base speakers had a decent sized magnet, but are only about 25 watt per channel.
That part does not really matter as the head unit itself only puts out about half of that to the speaker. My point being you can upgrade and it will sound better (think mid bass and tweeter) but your not going to be blow away without replacing the entire head unit and install an amp with subs. just want you to manage expectations. I am a little disappointed at the slightly harsh tweeters in the four way pioneer speakers I put in. I did it solely on the price I was able to get them ($30).
It is such an easy mod, really just a nice way to spend a friday or saturday night drinking beer in the garage.
