Aftermarket Radio

Sorry for yet another sound post, but earlier I was looking for a way to put a screen in, and upgrade the sound system, but I didn't like the design with having the screen at the bottom. I like the OEM nav system look, so I was wondering if I could just get a kit to put that in. I'm not looking for the nav capabilities bc I have an iphone for that, but mainly just for the touch screen radio. And if I can't do that, is there a way to upgrade the sound system/speakers without getting a remodel on the head unit area. Kinda like a to big or go home policy but whatever I end up doing I want to make sure I do it right. Thanks guys

There are a few manufacturers that make a dash kit for our cars. Im pretty sure all the HU's mount at the bottom though. I have the idatalink and Maestro setup in my 2014, but I have the Sync and wanted to keep some of the functions. To be honest its not a cheap undertaking. You can expect to pay close to 200.00 for just the dash kit, there might be 1 or 2 for a little less though. If you can do the work yourself Id say to allow for a budget of 700.00 for a new HU, dash kit and speakers.
