Unhappy Missing AUX port?? :-(

I just recently purchased a 2011 V6 that had one previous owner. Upon inspection of the vehicle I noticed that the aux port is completely missing. When I try to plug an aux cable in, it just feeds all the way through. Any thoughts or fixes to this problem? Thanks in advance!!!

ID:	157490 I took the door and saw the port. Only thing is, when I try to put it back into the door housing and pop the door back on. The port won't stay in the housing.

Are you the original owner? If not, perhaps the previous one pushed too hard on it and the side snaps that hold it in the hole broke. Might be worth a trip to your local bone yard for a replacement, or your local Ford parts department.

Another possible "fix" is to feed it through the hole, then put a tie wrap on it, about 1/8 inch back, to keep it from sliding back through the hole.

Or kill the troll that's living in that cubby hole that keeps pulling it back!

just leave the cable hooked up and disconnect it only from your mp3 player.

You can also hot glue it from the back side of the panel if you don't want to buy a new one.
