Signal Processor for a Factory Stereo Upgrade

Looking to upgrade factory stereo in 2012 V6 but have decided I want to keep the factory unit. I'm looking at signal processors (JL Audio's Clean Sweep or Kicker's Front Row). I'm looking for advice on this upgrade, thoughts on the processors, and/or alternative suggestions aside from replacing the head unit.

I was looking at a JL Audio Clean Sweep when I upgraded the factory stereo in my '13 GT. However, I decided to go with an AudioControl DQDX processor instead. The DQDX is better IMO in that it has lots more features; including a 7 band equalizer (a total of 21 knobs), for the front, rear and sub. It also has a crossover and a delay feature which allows the end user to delay/move the sound around in the car for the best possible sound. In addition to that, it has pink noise built into it to aid in the tuning process. Lastly, if you remove the cover on the DQDX you can access advanced features like different jumpers to help with grounding issues or even jumper the front speaker signal over to the sub output and eliminate the need for a LOC. I'm running a JL400/4 for my front and rear deck speakers and a JL 300/1 for my factory Shaker Pro sub. I recommend getting a PAC AOEM FRD24, cutting off the Molex connector for the speaker wires and soldering on RCA plugs to keep you from having to hack up your factory harness. You will not need to use the rest of the PAC unit. I hope this helps.

Here is a pic of the modified PAC harness with the RCA connectors soldered on. It simply plugs into the factory radio harness and then into the factory radio.
