Sync volume

I was curious if anyone has the same issue with volume while using sync. When I'm using Pandora and get a call, text, or email notification the volume afterwards, when the music returns, is lowered by about half. It doesn't matter how much I turn the volume knob, the volume doesn't coincide with the "bars" on the display. The volume doesn't return to normal until the next song begins. It also happens when i resume play after first getting into the car. I don't think it's my phone because it doesn't happen while using headphones. 2014 with latest sync update.

I think it's a 'safety' feature to not blow out the speakers. I'll have the music at 15 bars (estimate), receive a text and when the music resumes, it's lowered to 8 bars. My only guess for the reason this is happening is to not scare you with a sudden loud music resume or to possibly protect the speakers from immediately resuming to an extremely loud bass drop.

Those are just my 2 guesses on why this happens, if it is in fact a feature and not a bug.

Now that you put it that way DiESeven, I think it's a bug. It seems to only happen with Bluetooth features. After a call/text the audio will be halved no matter how much I turn the volume knob. It's only when the next song start's that it suddenly goes back to normal. Getting to "Mobile Apps" is also hit or miss without hitting the Line In button also. Going for scheduled maintenance so I'll bring it up this week.
