Idatalink and Alpine INE957HD

Ok a couple of months ago I did the Maestro with a Kenwood DNN 770. I've done my fair share of personal installs and a few friends. I've used many HU's and add on peripherals. In my opinion nothing is better then the idatalink Maestro. It is a seamless integration and it looks and works 100% factory.

Over the last few weeks I've been discouraged with the Kenwood. Slow and glitchy and the screen is a little to small. It took almost a minute to get sound (56-58 seconds), I didn't like it so it had to go. So now what...Pioneer!! Wrong, they don't support data and don't plan on it soon. That means no climate controls, gauges, or any thing else for that matter. This was a bummer for me. So back to the drawing board and now I've gone back to one of my favorite brands...the Alpine.

This INE957 is awesome. The bigger screen, music is around 6 seconds and the climate control look so much nicer. I haven't spent a ton of time with it yet,but the time I have spent with it I couldn't be happier.

If you're in the market for a new system for your Mustang give this one a look. You won't be disappointed.
