2000 gt with Mach 460 audio replacement speakers.

Hey guys. I've had my gt from day new. At some point the CD player broke so I put in a new sony head unit. I did all the install myself and it went fine. I even installed an infinity bass link in the trunk. Well the factory speakers are needing replaced and I was wandering what you suggest I use for the door speakers and rear speakers? I don't want to go el cheapo but I don't want to break the bank either. I just need speakers that are the same size so I don't have to mod anything to get them to fit. I don't even know the size for the door or rear speakers. I think the Mach 460 tweeters are still good though. Any help will be greatly appreciated.

The size of the door speakers are 5x7 or 6x8. Either one will fit. They have many different brands it's all about your personal preference. I personally have fosgate speakers and they sound like I paid good money for them when I got a good deal. You won't go wrong with whatever you buy, anything is better than the stock factory speakers

My favorite speakers for pure sound are focal! They are pricey but the sound quality are superior.

SPEAKER SWITCH

I went with the Shelby GT Speakers which are Kicker Speakers in the front and did JL Audio Speakers in the Back. I think the Shelby/Kicker all around is a Excellent speaker switch out.
