Upgrade time

I have the Shaker 500, and originally hooked up an old JL 10" in a ported box I had in my other car. Got tired of the lack of trunk space so I just bought a new Rockford Fosgate P2D4-10 and installed it in a sealed box just big enough for the sub. Added a 300w Rockford Fosgate amp to it and sounds pretty good with the gain at about 60%.

Next step is replacing speakers. Been eyeballing some Focal 5x7's that are $279/pair. Not sure if I really need those, thinking I've found a few others about $100 less per pair that may sound fine for my average Joe ears.

Would like to add a small amp to the 5x7's, thinking like a 50x4. Considering that, but then I might as well just do a 5 - channel amp and not worry about 2 sets of wires from the battery, plus the real estate that 2 amps would soak up in the trunk. So many choices...
