My 10" sub

I thought the amp was cutting out because the bass would disappear and then come back every once in a while. So yesterday I was checking it out and it turns out it's the sub. It cuts out but if you put a little bit of pressure on the speaker itself it comes back on. Took it out of box to make sure everything was connected right and it was. Guess it's a blown speaker. It is a 10 year old fogsate sub that I had barely used. Time to look for a new sub.

What Amp do you have hooked up to it, how much Power, what's the setting you have it set to on the Amp?

Yeah the leads start to separate after a while. 10 years is a long time.

My brother gave me a dual coil 10" fosgate that I hooked up the other day. It didn't fit in the box so I made one. I'll post a pic when I get a chance, at work right now. Didn't feel like spending $110 for a box so I bought a sheet of 3/4 mdf from Home Depot. Used a little bit of the left over wood and made a strip that goes from one side to the box to keep it in place, covered both with gray felt to match the trunk. Doesn't look the best but no one ever looks in my trunk and I don't do car shows.

There was but I got a grasp on it. It's called turning down the bass and quit acting like I'm 17 again.

It is weird that my trunk stopped rattling and my tail light started though.
