Free air subs?

I have a Track pack '14 and I'd like to upgrade my speakers and and a sub. I really don't want to lose trunk space so I was thinking about a 10 or 8" free air sub installed in the rear deck. I would be powering it with an MTC 300w amp. I'm thinking 4 Alpine R-types also.

Has anyone done something similar?

I want people to hear my car coming, not the bass....

Thanks

I did it by sealing off the trunk, with 3 1/2 thick birch laminate and Mounted the sub in that, can't put anything through the back seats anymore but it is well worth it๐Ÿ˜Š, I'll post a picture later tomorrow

This is what I did for my sub, it just bolts onto the sheet metal with 6 bolts so I can remove it if I need to.
