Replace speakers in 2016 ecoboost, is it worth it?

Brought my 2016 Ruby Red Ecoboost home a few days ago, not entirely happy with Ford's basic 6 speaker stereo. Volume levels are fine but the music sounds a little muddy on the low end range.

Will replacing the door and rear deck speakers with something better vastly improve the sound for the $300 dollars I would spending on the speakers or I am just wasting my time?

Thanks, any help would be appreciated.

You'll see a good improvement just by replacing the door speakers. In these cars the tears hardly out out anything compared to the fronts due to design. I wouldn't waste the money though. If your going to do it I would replace them all and add and amp.

If they are as bad as the ones in my 2014, I would say yes. Owned the car one week, then ripped them out and replaced with some Pioneer basic speakers. Sounds a ton better.

Thanks guy, got me four 6.5" round Kicker speakers on order, two for the door panels and two for the rear deck, I also have found a really good video on how to install them.
