thats false, the 00 Cobra R wing is completly functional, the way 99+ Mustangs are designed the wing hased to be at least as tall as the R wing. i just happen to be good friends with a real Cobra R

The only wing that I think works is a NASCAR style wing you can adjust or just a sheet metal streched out of the trunk like the Saleen S281 wings.

every wing is functional...just is the function beneficial?

my buddy had a big APC wing on his car, i drove it, and you can almost feel it slowing the car down, like the e-brake is draggin

F1 wings work. Just a matter of placement and airflow.

But the F1 car is not built like a regular car though. They don't resemble a street car.

unless you drive 150+ normaly there is really no benifit at all of a wing, its merly cosmetic.

Actually in all essence a Spoiler aka Wing does slow a car down when driven under like a 150+ as mentioned above, there was a test done in motor trend one time with a 98 Cobra and it actually reduced its speed by not having a spolier on there vs having one on the rear of the car.

I dont think its enough to really make adifferance vs your racing to the stop sign up the street, but in a quarter mile track is when you may wanna justify having such a " WING " on the car...but the Steeda Spoiler is very Aero-Dynamic, we had the same identical one on our white V6 aswell as you do there...we have been looking for another one for the Mach1 that is designed to mount up identically to the holes that are drilled frpm ford, your spoiler is actually for the 98yr and not so much for the 99+ due to the mounting holes that are drilled in the rear trunks...
