HOw do you go from 4ohms to 2ohms?

I think you wire the subs in PARELLEL correct? How would that looks, does anyone have a diagram?

Right now they subs are at 4ohms, and I want to drop those puppies to 2ohms and pound better with the Kicker500SS amplifier.

I am not sure how they went from 8ohms to 4ohms as I took it to Al and Ed's

if its 2 channel amp it wont support 2 ohm mono... only 4 ohm mono

if its a mono amp then he can only wire it down to 1 ohm or up to 8 ohms

I have a 2 channel MONO amp.

I looked at those picture and have no ****ing clue how they are wired....is that the only way to tell?

They did ask me at Al and Eds if I wanted to put them at 2ohms but weren't sure if the amp would be able to handle them for a long time. I know the amp is very powerful, so I now want to drop them to 2ohms....If they gave me that option...shouldn't it be possible then?

1ohm up to 8ohm...wouldn't that mean I could do 1-8ohms..my choice?
