pull down your rear seats

take off the three bolts you see to take off the headrest deal.

Pull out the plastic snap in things

pull out the board over it.

Somethings might be different with the Mach

and yes I know I suck at explaining things.

if your still trying to figure out how to take out the speakers, i know with a convertible you need to remove the rear seat assembly, to remove the side panels wich will let you at the speakers.. its a long process, but that ford for ya.

Finally just got the speakers in...well as im driving down the road, i am turning it up...well the new speakers just stop and the tweeters are only working...i have definately pushed the stock speakers a lot more than i have the new ones...i have to turn them all the way down to get them to start working again...i got on crutchfield and am reading and it says the speakers will only reproduce bass that the stock amps are telling them to...the speakers are 2-way and have tweeters in them but the highs are not coming through...as soon as i get enough money i am going to get a 50x4 amp but until then how can i get the speakers just to run off the headunit?

Did you not by pass the amps with a wiring harness?

Only other way I can think of is to run speaker wire from the head unit directly to the speakers. But I would just wait to get the amp before I would do that.

Circuit City installed the headunit and i have no idea what they did...how would a harness bypass the amps...everything looks like its all hooked together like if you unplug one thing the whole system wont work...
