kicker sub but a wal mart box?

i was wondering how 10 inch kicker subs would sound in one of those boxes from wal mart. i figure i can buy maybe two kickers and place them in the box from wal mart. what kind of sound do we get is it not bad

They don't look good in the truck. I had 12" Kicker Comps and bought those boxes because my dual hatch was shot.

Still tryin to get rid of them.....

Go have a custom vented box build. Acutally, Brent might be able to sell you his old Kicker Factory Vented box.

it doesn't really matter what kind of sub you have, never get a generic box. it might sound alright for what you're used to, but each sub needs a certain amount of space and back pressure. if you were to get a custom built box it would give the sub a longer lifespan, as well as make it as loud as possible.

I recommend making your own custom fiberglass enclosure. Given enough time and patience, it really isnt too hard. I'm finishing up mine now. I have pictures of mine on car domain. http://www.cardomain.com/id/squirrelnutz154 Id attach a picture right on here, but I'm not very technolgically gifted. If anybody wants to try to do a fiberglass enclosure, PM or email me, I can help you with ideas and advice.
