Unless we have a newbie around here, I can guarantee no one on here has installed that thing.

How come you didn't just buy an 05 instead?

If it looks like this:

My advice would be to sell it. Not saying that to be mean or anything but I just don't think you are going to get any positive input from here on it. It's just not right.

these guys got it... the 05 style belongs on the 05. The other body lines of the 99-04... will NOT bode well to that body kit.

Re: Bodykits

well its not the worst one out there, the black widow takes that honor for the most part.

overall that kit will have issues fitting as its not high quality from what ive seen, it had best be urethane or FORGET IT.

Re: Bodykits

My momma always said if you ain't got nothin' nice to say, keep your mouth shut. You guys are being pretty mean to the guy that said he already ordered it, so obviously he likes it. He just asked for help installing the thing!

I'm not a mustang guy, I've never owned one. Though my sister and 3 or 4 girls I've dated have owned them. So while I'm not intimately involved with every body line and crease on the mustang, I do know the general shape of one, and I don't really see whats so bad about the picture brent posted. Take that as you will, it's just the opinion of an "outsider"

It could always be worse haha!

If you install it, when you drop it off to the body shop to get it painted be sure to get it molded in. If a body shop does it make sure they mold it. Just so there are no gaps in the body work. Ive never done a body kit at all. So i cant really offer any good advice. Sorry.

Re: Bodykits

There always seems to be fitment issues with the body kits that "make your car look like the next gen" kits. I wish you luck, even though I think this thread may have scared you off

Re: Bodykits

Your best bet is to post info on your next purchase unless you know its the best deal, Personally I like this kit alot better and IIRC they offer a urithane option as well. For the price and parts it looks ALOT nicer IMHO:
