When they say "MP3 Player", they mean MP3 Format....in other words, when you make a CD, you can put the MP3 data files straight on the disc without having to put them into a music format...Putting MP3's on the disc as data files allow you to put far more songs on a single disc than in music format....Music Format only allows like 18-20 songs on a typical 80 minute CD, however you can usually put a couple hundred MP3s on the same disc in data format....
So unless the car explicitly came with an MP3 player input jack, the MP3 player simply just means it will play CD's with MP3 formatted data files on it...which is what My 05 Mustag GT has...
