Cleaning question

I have a question for ppl with 94+ mustangs...how do you clean the area around your trunk hinges? I got bored earlier and was sick of looking at how dirty it was so I took a toothbrush and a 2 liter bottle of water outside and cleaned mine out. Looks a ton better now. Just curious what other people do for this problem. I tried it with a sponge last time I washed, but couldn't get it in those small holes.

I used a cloth to get the main of the junk out.. used a toothbrush and some simple green+ water on the rest

I can't clean mine. The guy who had it before me always parked her under a tree, and apparently it got so built up cuz he never cleaned it that when I tried to clean it, the paint came off! so I just let it be now.
