Re: new cd/dvd player

1) a head unit
2) power wiring harness
3) mach system wiring harness (if you have the mach system)
4) not sure but you might need a dash kit. since the factory stereo is broken into 2 spots it will make the bottom one a storage for cds and what not.

advice if you have not previously installed cd or especially dvd players in cars before i HIGHLY recommend having an audio shop do the install for you. yes it will cost you more than doing it your self, how ever you will save money by having them doing it vs doing it your self and fring your head unit doing it incorrectly..

Re: new cd/dvd player

nope it got fried by jaming a screwdriver trying to pry it out instead of using a tiny screw driver to unscrew the anti theft bars on the side. so i lost a free dvd player because of it lol
i wasnt the one who did it by the way... the (professional cough cough bull**** friend of mine) ****ed it up.

Re: new cd/dvd player

see if i ever get my car back with bald tires, i'd probably end up killing someone but that's just my opinion on the matter sure it's not the most logical thing to do but in a fit of fury i'd do it

i caught ****** bags at a carwas smoking my tires off the end of the line one day... yeah i tore them all a new *******... and the owner as well..

Re: new cd/dvd player

If the opening is double DIN then yes it will fit, if it is a split Radio and CD then no it won't. You can probably find double DIN trim piece on the world wide internet that you can replace, or just get one from a Mustang that does have one.

When it goes it, double DIN will probably need a kit since there should be screw tabs in order to secure the radio. If you decide for a single DIN then the metal cage for the radio is sufficient enough to secure the radio in the opening. Slide the DIN cage in first bend the metal tabs on the cage to keep it in place and slide the radio in (wiring it up of course first).
