Hood Scoop + 04 base model hood

Is it possible to put a regular gt hood scoop onto my hood? My hood has the reverse scoop on it.

i have seen it done, the guy fliped it and mounted it backwards and it was ok.... if you decide to do this DEFINATLY GET a 35th aniversary they are lower in the back where the back meets the hood and will flow with the hood better from the front if its mounted backwards (go get pics and look you will see what i meant (www.mustangworld.com)) i wouldnt do it though i would just buy another hood go to cervinis.com they have great quality dont go cheap when it comes to body parts.

I couldnt find any mustangs that had a reverse scoop with a hood scoop on it . Can anyone shove me in the right direction? Is it possible to put a gt hood scoop on a hood that has the reverse scoop (Old cobra hood, i belive)? I cant just mount it on there?

yea i know the 4 eyed stangs are plain ugly....

you can mount a scoop backwards if you know how to mount it its not hard.... i could tell you though am email if you want to email me or pm me.

looks is up to you but it will work... i would use a 35th aniversary scoop since tehy are lower cut in the back (which will be the front if they are put on backwards) and you will have to remove the grille and fab up a custom grill (wont be hard)
