Hi Mustang lovers. Just let me introduce myself. My name is Gareth. I'm a British guy living in Gifhorn, Germany. I work as an electro-mechanical technician for a US company supplying services & equipment to petroleum companies. I worked as a vehicle service technician at a large Ford dealership for 21 years. I have always had the opinion that the Mustang was the most fantastic car ever designed & have been fascinated by it since I was a kid. I achieved an important goal in 1992 when I bought my '68 Coupe.
Which I restored over a period of 7 years, a years salary & 4 different girlfriends? Right, the car was a basket case & I love a challenge. Ok 7 years may seem a long time but I am not on an attorneys salary & all the parts had to come from the US!! I have a Marty deluxe report for my Mustang but would be delighted for any further history. Unfortunately I dont have any digital pics of the restoration but loads of the "finished" car. I think once you have a classic from the 60s you are never finished!!
As there isn't a nut & bolt on the car which I havent turned myself I would be glad to offer Tips & assistance to anyone who has a similar project.
Ok A few details about my Mustang.
