Smile Big Western Howdy!

I just bought my first mustang last week. It's a 1998 v6 AT w/101000 mi. Nothing is leaking and the motor runs ok, but it needs ALOT of work. I'm also new to the forum thing, so please excuse newby mistakes. What is the best service manual for this car and where do I get it? I'd really like to have torque specs and etc before I start. Also Ford used to be big on special tools, and I doubt that's changed, so any warnings on this would also be appreciated. Thanx

Re: Big Western Howdy!

welcome! what part of the west are you from? i personally use a haynes manual, i perfer them over chilton, but a factory service manual would be best probably (i've never personally used one) and you can probably find them on ebay or a dealership (not quiet sure about the dealership) the haynes you can find at autoparts stores such as napa.
It's cheaper to be beat a viper than to lose in one.

1994 GT, stock gears, stock shifter, stock engine, stock rims (or knock offs).
