Thumbs up A Healthy Addiction

Hi to all! Just wanted to declare my unending love for this car and it's history. I'm on my third Mustang now, and I'll be hanging on to this one for a long time. 1st 'Stang - 1986 GT, 2nd - 1989 LX 5.0, Now - 2009 Torch Red GT. I have to say that I like the 45th Anniversary badge on the side better than the "GT". If anyone can let me know what kind of axle back exhaust I can apply that won't void the warranty and will give me the sound I'm looking for, I would be in their debt.

Re: A Healthy Addiction

Welcome!

You can choose any exhaust you want without voiding your new car warranty (except on the parts you replace themselves)

Re: A Healthy Addiction

You can expect to hear a lot of votes for Borla, which probably are the best out there with out going to a shop for custom work anyways.

There is also FRPP's exhaust made by Borla (or is Borla made by FRPP?).

Some other ones to look out for would be Bassini, Magnaflows or Flowmasters.

And while you are at it, if you can, go with some long tube headers and some type of mid-pipe it will make the tone all the more better.

welcome :thumbs2:

Congrats on your 09 GT. I don't think you can go wrong with any of the exhaust brands listed above on a v8 mustang.
