Just a minute to introduce myself. My name is Joel from the tropical island of Puerto Rico
. I've been a Ford Fan ever since I knew what a car is. In the small list of Fords I have owned are a 65 Mustang, '69 Mustang, '75 Bronco (302 of course), '82 Mustang (damn those metric rims), '66 Mustang coupe (289 of course)
that I had to sell, and currently have an '86 Mustang (had it since 1992). This car, due to medical reasons, has become my drag project for the past 6 months. The plans are to take it from its current 13.95 ET (yes, it has some stuff in it) to the low 10's but, keep it streetable. No venom added (nitrous), NA if possible (yeah,... right):worship:, supercharger is planned but with a twist,....carburated instead of FI.
I found this forum when I inquired about roller rockers technology/geometry in Yahoo and was surprised and impressed by the level of technical detail of the thread found in this forum that I was directed to that, I had to join.
Mustangs and Fords are big here in the Island, not as big as japanese imports but we hold our own.
Thanks for the chance !
