Hello From SC....

Hello, my name is Adam I live in Belton, SC and I drive a 1989 5.0 5spd. When I bought the care it already had a F303 Cam, Ported Heads, 3.55 Rear End, and Some other Small Mods. Great little car for the price. Since I have put new rims, 4" Cowl Hood, and Had it Painted! I have some plans and it includes a new DSS 306 Roller motor, and either a TT kit or a centrif blower set up!

I used to drive a white 04 SCed V6 stang. That car is gone, but the memories still remain. I am going to start another V6 build soon as well, remebering the lesson from my last build.

I will kepp every one posted. Thanks for looking!

Welcome to M.E!
Be sure to keep us posted on anything you do, and get some pics posted up! Personally, I've never been a fan of the fox bodies, mainly because to me, the interiors just look cheap. But I sure do like the aggressive exterior of those notchbacks!

Re: Hello From SC....

Thanks for the welcome guys. I really hope to be on the boards and get some great ideals. I will be complating throwing my turbos and looking for a centrif blower. I think a votech set up is more what I used to, but I need to get the new motor together first!

The pic I have up is the only one I have right now, but more are soon to come.

Concerning Fox Body Stangs:

The other day I was at the gas station and this younger guy walked up and started to admire the stang. He asked the normal questions and of course being the car buff I answered.

He then made a statement that really made me feel so old...."That car is such a well preserved Classic!!" You know I did not how to respond to that one, I used to drool over these cars brand new at the ford dealership! I thanked him and moved on feeling that much older....but I love the fox body, it is my perfect muscle car!

Yeah I love my fox body, BTW I am redfyre89 as well. I just forgot I had a profile here and found it in my email. This car is gonna be tons of fun. It is my generation muscle car! They just have that raw power feel you do not get from a lot of mustangs!

Re: Hello From SC....

welcome :thumbs2:

That is a nice looking fox...I do remember seeing you around now that you put up your other profile. Though the "new edge" mustangs are my favorite body style out of the late models, I agree with you on that raw power feel you get from the foxes. You started losing that feel with the 94-04's. The 05+ feel too refined and toned down for me...they sound good though.
