I do have a question Is the TR-3650 a real loud s.o.b? Mine generates alot of noise in the cabin under wot. But it shifts fine

It's not the quietest transmission, esp in first gear/second gear at low speeds..

But what sort of noise are you hearing? rattling? whirring? etc..

Couldn't hurt to pop the bezel off around your shifter - see if the rubber cover for the trans is still in place/not ripped, that could affect noise levels.. If you have a short throw shifter, you'll hear more also

If you hear a 'clash' or 'grinding' noise when shifting gears, even though it shifts fine..

There is a TSB out by ford to replace the synchro's with updated parts

Kinda like a whirring noise, I get a vid of it shortly. And I do have a steeda tri-Ax on it.

Re: New Member!

First and second gear are loud in the tr3650, and a tri-axx is going to transmit a lot more noise than the stock shifter - Get a video but I'd say normal...
