Really? Thank you! It's going to get some getting used to. I'm used to the Fox Body 5.0. It was a little weird to see manifolds instead of headers...

Re: New from Vegas

Yah just remember to tune after mods. Those 4.0 v6's and 3v v8's are really sensitive compared to the former 3.8/9 v6's and 2v v8's. As said before, a few bolt ons and a solid tune will get you up to the 300 mark.

Re: New from Vegas

Sweet! Thank you again. I was going to Dyno it this weekend but a friend of mine said to wait until some of the mods were done. He said it was a waste of money to do it before and after..

Well, if you really wanted to see what your bone stock specs are, you could have it dynoed and then take it back after you do your mods to see your gains. But as your friend said, it does cost money and you won't really gain too much thru an actual dyno tune on a near stock engine.

Usually, actual dyno tunes aren't necessary until you really alter the a/f ratios and timing. At this point you are building the engine or adding a power adder like a supercharger.

Oh ok, Thank you again. =) Supercharger is later on, maybe this summer. I guess I'll wait. New hood and exhaust, first.
