Re: Hi all...I just traded my 2004 GT...

Hello again...My well loaded V-6 stickered at 22K, less than the 25K 04 Gt; but more to the point alot less than the well loaed 06 Gt I see at 30K. I"m a factory worker, 30K is a bit above my payment range. I'm sure having a great time with this 2006 Ford though.

Welcome dude.

Not everyone is interested in engine size and speed, maybe he really liked the 06 body style and really wanted one. The 05-06 are sexy.

Welcome, and congrats on the 06. I know I love mine. It's a whole different world compared to driving the old fox.

Re: Hi all...I just traded my 2004 GT...

I love my 06 Pony, fast a plenty, saves gas, dont' need premium fuel, and save some on insurance, besides there was not enough of my Vert to fix. After totaling the convertable, I had to wait about 8 months to get the nerve to climb in a Mustang at all again.

Wink Re: Hi all...I just traded my 2004 GT...

Hi everyone, thanks for the feedback; V6STANG007 pretty much nailed it...Around here the dealers were selling $29,000.00 05 and 06 GT's with a $3,000.00 mark-up! Maybe I'm spoiled but I'm used to getting my car's at 3K under sticker price. Don't want to offend anyone, if a person can afford a $32,000.00 car they deserve one. I'm more a $20,000.00 car guy. Now my first car was a 1968 mustang, 289 auto, I've buying new cars every two years...maybe a 2008 is in order. All depends on the payment. From what I can tell this sixer is not that much slower...and as V6STANG007 said I really do love Mustangs and this new edition is possibily the best Mustang series ever built. the looks and style with the electronics and engine technology. I can drive at 55 and get 28mpg, or cruise at 85 and still get 21mpg. Thanks again, I've been touring this website and I enjoy all the pics reading.
