Re: Mid-life Crisis Therapy

Well, I am 55, no grandkids that I know of, but its real possible, lol. I got my first "new stang" in 97, it was an 86 V6 convertable, then the 94 V6 vert, and then my pride and joy my 99 GT vert, went to a truck for a while after I totalled the GT from a Diabetes thing, now have my 06 pony pkg V6 manual!

Welcome. I was stationed a Sheppard for 2 years in the 80's. The one thing I remember about Burkburnett was it is damn hot and Lake Burkburnett dries up in the summer. When they sent me there I saw a film showing people sking. When I got there it was a dried up mudd hole HAHAHHAHAHAHA I see you are a quality engineer. Who do you work for.

Oh one more thing I remember

TORNADO'S !!!!!!

Thanks for the warm welcome everyone. This looks like a good group with a wealth of knowledge to tap.

In answer to your question, I work for Howmet castings (Alcoa), and the area is still as hot and dry in Summer as you remember during your say at Sheppard AFB.

Re: Mid-life Crisis Therapy

Yeah, years ago I had a 64 1/2 convertable, a 65 2+2, and the 69 Mach I, then after the military I bought a 75 Mustang II, piece of junk, 4 cyl. mpg model. This one is number 8 total.

My first car was a 74 Mustang II.....4 popper auto....what a slow car. LOL. You're going to love the new stang. I just got a 06 V6 Vert and I love this thing, it's my 6th stang since 1976 (i'm kind of old too LOL)
