Hello from Saskatchewan, Canada

Hey everyone,

My name is Doug, I have always loved the mustang and plan on getting 1 very shortly. So I thought I would join and learn and ask questions. Once i get a mustang, I will post pictures for sure.

Re: Hello from Saskatchewan, Canada

welcome

The 2011 v6 is turning out to be very promising. A potent 305 hp DOHC 3.7 will get that base model moving pretty good. Plus now it comes with dual exhaust and limited slip...something Ford should have done a long time ago, mainly because I didn't have it stock, lol.

Re: Hello from Saskatchewan, Canada

I saw a video online of a 2011 v6 doing a burnout...it looked just like one of the v8's doing one...no hesitation in power/torque and in getting those wheels to start smokin. I'm really glad Ford is beefing up their entire line of mustangs.

Re: Hello from Saskatchewan, Canada

ya i saw the video from smoking tires.

I am glad to see as well as i need to show up some friends that have imports, as they are laughing at me for being an american muscle guy. Need to cover them in smoke so i can watch their jaws drop once the smoke clears lol.

Re: Hello from Saskatchewan, Canada

Ha, you'll definitely teach them a thing or two in that 2011. That 3.7 v6 will probably keep you ahead of those imports too...I think it's rated at 280 torque...a very strong number and when you consider the weight of the car...0-60's will probably be 5.5 or less.

Either way, you can't do anything but smile at this:
