Murph is in the house!

Hi all!

I've been scouting around the place and I am impressed. Nice place! Gonna have fun here trying to break my bank. heh...

My ride is an '07 GT with a Glassback roof. Only had it 5 days, so the mods are still forming in me mind. An axle-back is next, trying to figure out what will give me more groan but not real load. Had a Flowmaster on a truck, not impressed - load and had a nasty drone. Can't have that on the 'stang.

Anyways, hello all! looking forward to all your ideas and advice as I try to shake off that noob thing.

Re: Murph is in the house!

welcome Murph!

Nice looking GT...really like that color.

FRPP (Ford Racing) has some axleback mufflers that are made by Borla (great exhaust company). They are stamped with the FRPP logo, so you pay that price rather than borla's. They aren't obnoxiously loud but crisp and deep. Might want to look into those.

Also a CAI and a tune is pretty popular with the S917's. If done right, you could see gains of up to 30+ hp.

Welcome and nice ride. In my opinion, nothing can beat the sound of the borla stingers on a v8, although they are pretty pricey. and +1 on the tune and cai for your next two mods.

Re: Murph is in the house!

Welcome, Nice ride where are the pics? I would also agree Borla way to go. On the truck go with the flowmaster delta series and the inner cab noise will not be as notable.

welcome, one piece of advice, research and ask before you purchase mods to ensure you get what you want for what you want it for, and dont pay to much.
