Cool New member with a classic!

Hey everyone! First off, I LOVE Mustangs! I'm a proud owner of a 1966 Mustang Coupe V8. This car was a gift to me from my uncle as a project car. I've had it about 3 years, but is still far from road worthy. I've done all work by myself, other than body and paint, and am quite proud of that. The car is currently interior-less, and needs tires, a lot of suspension work, new rims, and quite a bit more. But it runs great! Here are some pics of it:

When I picked it up in a not-so-good part of town....

And now (I don't have any really good pics being it's not drivable):

Sorry for the messy garage, we're getting a new shed...

Well, the Mustang isn't my only car. My parents wanted me to have something safer to drive daily, and I absolutely love European cars, so when I found this, we couldn't pass it up.

It's a 2003 Saab 9-5 Arc. It has a 3,0 liter turbocharged V6, heated/ventilated leather seats, heated rear seats, nine speaker Harman/Kardon audio system and much more.

I've got the best of both worlds, European comfort and American power!

Thanks for reading, and I'm looking forward to being a member of Mustang Evolution!

Thanks again guys! Some more pictures of it:

My (lack of) interior:

My rockin' head unit!

Whoever put it in crudely cut the dash, so I can't put an original radio in.

All suggestions for the car a welcome, and appreciated!

Re: New member with a classic!

I know this is off the subject on a mustang site, but my dream car of all is a 1967 Shelby 427 SC Cobra, The closest thing that I have found to it is my littlle GT minus the BIG motor....and HP...

If I ever get the money that will be my next project and I donn't want a kit car..

That is awesome man, Welcome to ME. You are doing exactly what I want to do. And my uncle had an old mustang too, but I think he sold it.

Re: New member with a classic!

Thanks everyone! I will definitely keep everyone updated on the progress. The next thing to be done is the interior. I have all the seat covers, carpet, panels and dash sitting in my basement right now. I have no upholstery experience at all so I'll be having that professionally done.

Re: New member with a classic!

Update on the car!! I'm getting some really nice tires off of a guys '67 Cougar XR7! Brand new, never seen the road, $200. And the car is getting registered this week or next so it will be road legal. Interior will be going in next few months.
