| hey everybody
hey guys, i have an 02 V6 mustang and want to make a lot of modifications to it but dont really know how to go about doing the stuff.

They are the same. Coils are just the type of spring. There are leaf springs that you will see on trucks and trailers then there are coil springs.

It would depend entirely on your application as to which one you went with. Springs are a more common, street driven setup... coilovers you'll see more on road race specific cars that was to adjust the suspension all the time. It really depends what you want to do and how much money you want to spend.
